    Jig's Up

This jig works great. I installed one set of drawer glides without this, and it was a tedious job. With this jig, it cut the time way down, and each one gets easier.

  • Top critical review

    Didn't fit.

I bought this after watching a video on youtube.. It looked easy, unfortunately the cabinet I had had no place to clamp them on, because the facing around the doors was only about a 1/2 inch. If you have the right cabinet they would probably work well, so it's something to think about before buying them.

  • KHI-Slide Drawer Guide JIg

A tape measure, straight edge works much better. Plastic is too slick and weak to hold heavy drawers properly. I would not recommend this product. Installing the guides with a tape measure and line drawn with a straight edge was much faster for me than setting up these plastic jigs. Even with the jigs, drawer adjustments were needed. Maybe with enough use, and practice, it might become easier to use the jigs. Plywood right angle jig was made in my shop and they would hold the heavy drawers in place. I would not recommend these jigs. Build you own!!!

  • Not as good as the one they sold before

I had the mounting tool and brackets Kreg made before and they worked great. The mounting tool had magnets that held the slide with the right set back to the face frame and held the slide so I had both hands to work with, not this toy. It came with no instructions luckily I had used Kregs old style jigs that came with instructions that me figure it out. The shelf pin jig is another Kreg toy joke, it is not long enough to drill many holes without moving it. Kreg should have stuck with pocket hole jigs that work great.

  • Not impressed

When the jigs are clamped to the face/stile of the draw box, in order to align the draw slides, it doesn't seem to want to hold a straight position. It tends to dip at the unsupported end. It does this especially when you set the draw slides on the jig. I had the jigs clamped as tight as i could get them using Kreg project clamps. Seems to be too much play to be able to get a straight slide postion.. Maybe it's me.
