A very interesting sci-fi classic from the past !! Stories are well written, well acted too. Not seen much on TV these days, so it's that more wonderful that they are finally on the DVD market. Series takes place 10 years in the future when we are to have a space station on the moon with a defence, an underground S.H.A.D.O. headquarters(Supreme headquarters alien defence organization) beneath the ground surface as well as a fleet of submarines. We are to be invaded by U.F.O's far from space and having this S.H.A.D.O. organization is the basis of this series. These U.F.O's try every trick to penetrate the earth atmosphere. They come to earth for the reason that there planet is dying and we are ideal as humans for organ transplants to satisfy their needs. It kinda sounds like a ... Created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. Known for special-effects, it is a story-driven series. The excellent special-effects were made by Derek Meddings and his team. I enjoy watching the UFO DVDs on a big-screen TV !
