Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII is an expansion pack requiring the original release, Battlefield 1942, for play. Sixteen new vehicles are available, such as the Horton HO 229 "Flying Wing"; the Sturmtiger, a naval gun mounted on a Tiger tank; a Sherman tank with a T-34 rocket launcher; the T95/T28 Super Heavy Tank; the AW-52 US advanced fighter; the Natter rocket plane; a prototype German rocket jetpack; and the Wasserfall anti-air missile. Seven new weapons -- throwing knives, the Bret light machine guns, the Auto 5 shotgun, the Mauser K98 grenade rifle -- are accessible across eight campaigns, which take players into a V2 research facility, Hitler's hideaway, and the frozen fields of Norway. A new objective-based combat mode forces players to focus on specific goals, while new enemies can include elite British and German commandos.

    Great Game! Very good graphics, lots of multiplayer...

    This game has lots of cool additions that the original 1942 does not have...sweet new weapons, better maps, better multiplayer servers. My favorite item is the jet packs that allow you to fly in the air on top on enemy buildings and tanks. The silent machine guns that British EMT's get and the German semi-automatic sniper rifle are also pretty fun weapons.

    An Awesome Expansion

    This expansion to Battlefield 1942 is a must have for any first person shooter fan. Play as USA, Germany, Japan, Soviet Union, and Great Britain you fight your way across the battles of World War Two. This time around, you get awesome new "secret" weapons. Gameplay is fantastic with no glitches. The online multiplayer option is great once you tire of playing the CPU (which won't be for a while!). This game is worth having and you will be addicted for a long time!
