Ultimate edition for Titanic fans
This is “the” version to have if you are as big a Titanic fanatic as I am. There are three different commentary tracks; one by the the cast and crew, one by director James Cameron, and one from historical expert. This set also has lots of bonus features. The packaging is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Titanic 3 disc DVD set
The Titanic 3 disc DVD set finally contains the behind the scenes of how the movie Titanic was made by James Cameron. It's really detailed. In my opinion, they should have kept the deleted scenes in the final movie except for 2 of them. The 2 that they deleted that I agreed with deleting was the drowning of Cora, the little girl, with her parents, and the chase scene by Lovejoy, Cal's Valet, chasing Jack and Rose through the dining room trying to shoot them. What I disliked about this set or what they should have explained and included but DIDN'T was about how they made and re-made all of those lovely costumes! There were no closeups of the costumes and no insight into how they were made or what they did to restore the many DONATED ACTUAL gowns and outfits from the ... The Titanic 3 disc DVD set finally contains the behind the scenes of how the movie Titanic was made by James Cameron. It's really detailed. Stands the test of time
After seeing this for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I knew I had to own it. And after looking around I found this collector's edition to be the best way to own it. It has a lot of behind the scenes as well as commentaries from cast, crew, and James Cameron (though Leo isn't one of them unfortunately). There's a lot I learned about how this movie was put together and the love and dedication that went into it. As for the DVD case itself, I love how it's put together! The fold out with pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet is just so lovely! Not to mention the movie itself! I'm a bit disappointed that it's split onto two DVDs, but otherwise I do believe this is truly an iconic film with a lot of heart and unfortunately tragedy.
