    The clutch pedal in my Corsa was dropping slightly making it difficult or sometimes impossible to change gear. Fitting the assist spring has solved the problem. The mountings for the spring are already in place so I don’t know why the spring is not fitted at the factory. The spring is quite stiff so you need a short sharp push to install it. There is no difference to the feel of the clutch pedal when driving.
