    Quality Canner With Thin Junky Racks

    Nice canner but the round racks it comes with are a joke.They are very thin and weak like an alluminum pie pan and are alot smaller around.My old rack from my old canner is thick and fits perfectly but now i have to buy 1 more good rack to be able to stack jars properly.So be warned.You might feel the need to buy better racks.For that amount of money you should get good stuff not junk.

    Safe and Easy

    This is my second All American pressure cooker. My first one is over 20 years old and is in perfect condtion but just wanted another to speed up canning time. I realize the price will turn many people around, however this is a several lifetimes purchuse. With minor care these will last several genterations. It is very safe to use, so much better than a gasket cooker. With the dial it is easy to read and use and you do not have that dang rattle if you have ever used one with the weight on the steam release. With this size you can process alot of food in a short time with two layers of jars (pints, half pints). We can almost all of our meat (chicken, venison, fish, sloppy joe mix, meat sauce) plus veggies, I like it much better than freezing. If I lose power I do not lose food. Shelf ...

    Sturdy, well-designed & made

    Anything this heavy will never be easy to use, but given the dangers involved in high-pressure canning, it shouldn't be too easy. I am very impressed with the high quality of this canner. I also appreciate the carefully detailed instruction manual that uses the English language well and is laid out thoughtfully so that one can find answers to specific questions.
