    Great Sound - Lasts Forever!

    I was working for a Rock radio station and I was spinning records at schools as part of our PR. I went to Orvac's Electronics (the only place our station went for electronics stuff) & bought two pre-amps. I bought them several times (AND they were expensive) because they did not travel well. One day, I had an afternoon & evening show & a pre-amp went out again. I was nowhere near Orvac's. Out of panic I pulled into a Radio Shack & asked about pre-amps. I boyught one of these & went to do the next show. The sound was SO much better than the expensive ones The bottom end - everything. I was so impressed, I bought 3 more the next day (2 for each unit) and I never had to buy them again until now. That was in the late 70's. The only reason I bought this one?
