    Enjoyable Gateman

    I had one of the very early ones like this and my children loved it. I recently bought an almost new but vintage one for my grandchildren and we use at library demonstrations of the hobby. I equipped it with a button instead of a track tripping unit. This way children can press the button as they wish, but it does not come out every time the train passes. My youngest son, now a father, named it the "man comes out" and the nick name as stuck.
