This product arrived in very poor condition. It wasn't sealed, and the packaging was almost empty, only containing a quarter of the product. Now I understand why, when I wrote to the seller before purchasing, asking them to be honest and tell me if the product was genuine, they never responded, and I took the risk of buying it and losing my money. This is a manipulated product. I am very disappointed.

Correct Duplicate Replacement for Rheem Water Heater
Had somewhat of a hard time finding the correct replacement for our Rheem Marathon water heater. The know nothings at two major hardware stores along wiyh Home Depot will carelessly claim that the generic brand elements they sell fit and function in ALL major brand water heaters. Though the Rheem water heaters are sold at Home Depot the store stooges will give the customer bad information and sell the wrong replacement parts. These two purchased elements (top and bottom) looked to be identical to the factory installed units that were removed. After installation, we tweeked the top and bottom thermostat settings to a temp of about 105 degrees Farenheit. There is now again good hot water.
