    Best Pokemon Game by far!!

    I love love LOVE the fact there’s no more random encounters and you can see the wild pokemon wandering around. That way you can see whether you want to catch it or not, also the fact the pokebox is in your bag now and you dont have to wait til you get to a PC to transfer or recieve someone you put in there or got transferred automatically cuz you already have the 6 pokemon limit for your party. Pikachu is absolutely adorable and being a fan of the series for 20 years and playing pokemon for that long i seriously cant say enough this game is a must have for any pokemon fan or even for those just playing it for the first time

    Solid Pokémon game; Good but not awesome

    Not the best Pokémon game ever (I've been playing since Red & Blue days!), but it is a remake of Yellow, the one game I never bought back in the day because it seemed too gimmicky. It is a bit jarring to have the same catch system as Pokémon GO on a handheld, & the controller is awkward when playing it on a TV, but I'm sure I'll get better. Really wish there were Trainer customization options beyond skin & hair color; Sun & Moon version are still the only games where my Trainer looks like me. Haven't had time to play very far due to work (Just got to Vermilion City), but overall it's a solid Pokémon game, as expected. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised by other in-game features as I go along.

    What you need to know

    The 'Let's GO' mechanics with the ball are annoying, but doable. And no there is no pokemon x wild pokemon battling. Only trainer battling. That being said I got this because I wanted to just have a simpler version of pokemon to start my kids off with and for me to play casually. The cut scenes with Eevee/Pikachu are adorable and play/bonding with them is greatly enjoyable and rewarding. If you are one of those completion pokemon players that enjoy the grind or someone who didn't like Pokemon Go, buy Sword and Shield or play the older games. If you are just looking for a pokemon title to add to your collection that is cute and especially perfect as an introductory game, buy this.

    Fantastic game, i thought it was going to be like Pokemon go at first which is why i was on the fence about this but i was mistaken, the only thing that i don't like about this game is the catching system which i can totally live with everything else is just fantastic 10/10 would recommend

    It’s like a hybrid between the original Pokémon on the Gameboy, (red, blue, yellow), mixed with Pokemon Go. Modern graphics mixed vintage graphics.

    The product said used online but actually it looked brand new when I received it. No damage to the game or box it came in. I popped it in my switch and it played with no problems at all.
