This exceptional device enables you to scan directly to PDF, e-mail, file, or even Microsoft applications—all at the touch of a button. Moreover, S510 has the capability to simultaneously scan both sides of a color document in a single pass, at an amazing speed of up to 18 pages per minute. Furthermore, S510 is boasts of a new multifunction Quick Menu feature that gives users the options to instantly store, display, print, share, or e-mail the scanned images. Adding to this already impressive set of features are some advanced inbuilt functionalities of S510—auto paper size detection, auto de-skew, and auto blank page deletion. Fujitsu has also bundled in the full version of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 standard with S510.

      This little thing is brilliant.

      It's making short work of my archiving project. The software is a little tricky to find and install but worth it. It's ScanSnap Organizer really makes the process easy to manage.

      AWESOME SCANNERS

      As always the Fijutsu scanners are tested and are the BEST in the market!!! We have five of them (different models) right now since 1999 and they are all still working... This S510 though an older model works PERFECTLY!!! And the one I purchase is really really GREAT!!! Fujitsu scanners are always WELL RECOMMENDED!!!

      Reaching end of life

      I have 5 of those and they are at the end of their life, most were manufactured in 2008 and I've kept up with changing rollers/assembly pads but at some point they just pull the pages through and keep displaying paper jam errors. The S1300i do not last either, I would go with the 1500 in the future instead.
