The new item arrived safely today and I was amazed that there was just the item inside a box without any protection. All said and done..no other issues with the transaction.

I spoke w the dealer about its working condition. She had to get back to me but assured me after testing it out, it worked fine. Not many dealers are willing to test out old lighters so I have a drawer full of lighters that stated they just needed fuel & a flint.
