Nelson Riddle was an outstanding instrumental arranger and musical conductor who worked with such greats as Nat "King" Cole, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Sammy Davis Jr.., Peggy Lee, Dinah Shore and Dean Martin. This collection highlighting Nelson's musical work features his #1 hit from 1955, an instrumental version of "Lisbon Antiqua." the collection also contains his renditions of such pop classics and standards as "Route 66 Theme," "Mona Lisa" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand."
