Meter I received today, was a series 7p and non-working due to the 9 volt battery having one terminal so badly corroded that the terminal had pulled away from the battery. This is the reason I said no working. I will replace the battery clip connector and see how it goes. However, this is the same series as the one I damaged. May be able to get one going between the two.

A great value if you don't mind running some Windows updates out of the box!
