The best keyboard I've ever worked with.
Dell Keyboards are the best - especially this model. It is way more convenience than any other keyboard I've worked with. As a user it is difficult to pinpoint the exact reason but let me put some facts in, that might help you realize why it is the best of at least 10 other keyboards I've worked with: 1. The layout: What bothers me the most about all other keyboards is the placement of the "insert", "home", "page up", "page down", "end" and "Delete". I don't know what was someone thinking a while ago, placing these keys vertically on some keyboards - at least here it is arraigned vertically, so that is not a concern. 2. You know... sound does matter. Sure there's this sweet typing clinky-clank-typey-binkey cuteness into some Mac air keyboard, but they are way too flat. I never found them ... Dell Keyboards are the best - especially this model. It is way more convenience than any other keyboard I've worked with. These keys are tall enough to ergonomically fit your fingers, but also make a cute typing sound. A bit too "plastic" like, but still with a geeky kinda glory. :-) 3. Durability. Now this is the key here. You don't want to have these stupid keys to break, get stuck, etc... this keyboard can take all of my (sometimes angry and aggressive) typing patterns, without blinking. Yep! It is army strong. 4. Sustainable... I eat near the computer. I bet you can make a full meal out of the amount of crumbs I got in this keyboard. Sure I shake it out once in a while, but never ever had any issues with the keyboard. It eats it all with me while working non-stop. 5. The minimal and design appealing look into it is nice. The picture shown here next to this "article" is not doing justice to the real look of it. 6. Gaming. I'm not sure if this keyboard is marketed as a gaming device, but let me give you my word - if you don't need these super expensive pre-colored keyboard with all the bells and whistles extra buttons, you will enjoy this amazing keyboard as the best gaming input device. A quick note - I never used this mouse that comes with the keyboard... because I have a slighly different mouse that works like a beast for close to 10 years: Dell Cj339 USB Optical 3 Button... look it up, thank me later... So if you happen to wonder what heavy users (geeks) are using... this keyboard will be it.

Conundrum
The keyboard doesn't match the photo for one thing, and there's no cd or any info on how to use it. All in all, it's a bust and I wish I'd never bought it.

Fast and friendly keyboard.
My original Dell keyboard wore out and I dislike the older style keyboards as I find them too clunky. For some reason I can type faster on the newer models. They keys seem to be spaced better for typing. It was so simple to set up, just plug in the USB cord and you are ready to go.

So a USB hub fried my old compaq keyboard and I was in the market for a new one. I have used chiclet keyboards a lot recently and switching between a different key type is not the best, so hence why I opted for chiclet. It's way easier to type on compared to my old keyboard. I enjoy this keyboard a lot, if my USB hub fries this one I'll definitely get it again!
