    Microsoft Storage Spaces compatible HBA

    I had been in the process of implementing Microsoft Storage Spaces on server 2012R2 and had all of my HP equipment delivered. The HP H241 array controller in on the MS compatibility list but when using non-HP hard drives (this small HD company called Seagate), their driver causes BSOD's! It is absolutely their driver that causes this because if I enter into the Smart Array Configuration wizard (the OS then loses control of the drives), I can insert all of the 1.8TB drives from Seagate and have no problem. As soon as I shutdown the array configuration utility, boom the system crashes again. Tried working with HP on this issue but I'm not a big enough fish for them to care about. So...back to the compatibility list and I find the ATTO Express SAS H1280 adapter. Purchased it from e-bay, ...
