Conan Combo Rocks~
This DVD has both movies on it(one on each side), and, of COURSE, they're awesome movies, but the only thing that bothered me is that when I flipped DVD over to watch sequel, it was in the "letterbox" format, meaning most of our 60" screen was black....Believe me, I tried every aspect my TV had, and still could not get it to play in "fullscreen" mode.... This is a cult classic movie from Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of many he has made, and if you have read books about Conan, this is as one actor quoted, high adventure.

A great adventure story that is full of action, sorcery and evil creatures bent over ruining the world and ruling with a ruthless tyranny. I would recommend these movies.

This is not some cheap cheesey remake or Italian Spaghetti Gladiator Movie. THIS IS THE REAL CONAN. You get both Conan the Barbarian and it's sequel, Conan the Destroyer. This movie is what launched Arnold Schwarzeneggar's career in Hollywood. Although he did do Hercules in New York. That was Cheesey. Conan is about a Warrior's Justice and Revenge. Classic and original tale of ancient civilizations.
Arnold set the standard with his excellent performance in this classic tale by Robert Howard (1932). The movie hits the highlights of Howard's hero in this introduction to Conan and is quite enjoyable. Sandahl Bergman, Mako, James Earl Jones and Max Von Sydow also lend their incredible talents to this enjoyable tale. Well worth watching the original again.
