      Great SSD!

      Works great. Only issue is that, at first Windows 10 wouldn't let me install to it. I had to go into the command line during installation to reformat the drive and delete the primary volume before installation would take place. Once that was accomplished, installation and use was a breeze. Using it on an ASUS Gryphon Z97 Armor Addition motherboard with Intel i7-4790K processor, 16 GB of Corsair DDR3 DRAM, EVGA GeForce 1070Ti SC video card. Used JEYI SK7 M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIE 3.0 Adapter.

      Make your PC fast again!

      Good way to improve the disk performance of the older PC. It is bootable and detectable by BIOS, can be used as primary drive for OS. I specifically went for NVMe type to overcome the speed limit of the SATA controller. It does 980 MB/S on average when inserted into PCIx, directly on the motherboard with simple adapter. Very happy with the solution. Affordable price, super fast speed. Please note that older PC can't be boot from the Samsung EVO family of ssd drives, but PRO series works like a charm (at least the 950 PRO - that is what tested)

      Bootable M.2 PCI-E V-NAND

      Only Bootable M.2 PCI-E x4 in older Motherboards. Has internal BIOS which is included in MB Boot sequence. IO Speed at about 2,000 MB/s in PCI-E 4x Primary Slot.
