    An Energetic Dokken LP...

    Three of the members of the classic Dokken line-up re-grouped and replaced original guitarist George Lynch with the equally fleet-fingered Reb Beach for "Erase the Slate". Beach sounds nothing like Lynch, and that is a good thing for the band. The material sounds fresh and exciting. This line-up was an exceptional live ensemble and that is the approach that they used for the recording. While the layers of atmospheric guitar are stripped from the Dokken sound, their strong vocal harmonies remain as does their fine songwriting. Beach adds a tight and heavy rhythm guitar to their sound that drives the new material. Beach's solo style is well-developed, filled with streams of tapped lines and aggressively picked phrases, and is somewhat reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen. Don Dokken is in ...

    DOKKEN on a Pioneer car stereo with a one-watt amplifier and ten band equalizer! Everyone knew I made it to school that day.

    CD / Case / Liner notes all in excellent condition. Great mail packaging. Lynch was amazing. Levin studied Lynch and is an excellent replacement. Beach brings a completely different sound to Dokken; different but definitely really good stuff.
