Two Man Job
The removal of the stock shifter went as expected. However the install of this shifter requires a second pair of hands. The base design is extremely precise and due to limited space for hands under the vehicle. Another hand is required to help hold it up from above while guiding it to place the nuts and single bolt. There are no installation instructions with the item. As such I assumed it had to be assemble prior to install. It will not install with the shifter attached. The lower frame must be installed first. The lower bushing on the shifter for the shift rod is off set. The long side must go toward the shift rod from the trans. The rubber vibration bushings hole is some what to large for the studs. To hold them in place some RTV is required prior to mounting the base between the trans ... The removal of the stock shifter went as expected. To hold them in place some RTV is required prior to mounting the base between the trans and the chassis. The height of the shifter is slightly higher than the stock one. Roughly 3/4" over all. The throw is roughly 30% less than the factory shifter, and it is pretty direct in the gating when shifting under a quick pace. I installed this shifter in my 07 Mustang GT/CS. Upgrading was something I've been wanting to do since I had to replace the E Brake I figured now is the time.

Great shifter
Easy install compared to others that I’ve done and feels way better than the stock shifter. Gears are much closer together and the shifter is just tighter overall . Makes my tr3650 feel like a high end sports car lol. Well worth the money. Don’t let the lower cost scare you away. This thing is just as good as the $250+ shifters I’ve had in the past.
