Looks like it works great, Only concern of mine is that it does not spin perfectly straight, it wobbles a bit.. Not sure if it will affect drilling with drill bits.. Other than that back piece that connects to drill can be completely removed from the silver aluminum assembly. there is a black plate that also screws into the silver aluminum plate that cam unscrew loose which might be the cause of the wobbling. the "teeth" that hold the drill bit are spring loaded? (I can see about 3 springs inside the assembly) not sure if this is how this mechanism works in most professional drills. Convenient drilling
I was in need of a drill chuck that would fit my cheap quick-change drill. All I use it for is to drill out old plastic from my 3d printer nozzle. Anything beyond that task, you had better buy a dedicated drill because by design, these things wobble badly. Maybe with enough time, you could center the bit, in an effort to compensate for the chucks inability to keep things straight. Other than that, it is convenient to have such a small drill chuck to have around.I was in need of a drill chuck that would fit my cheap quick-change drill. Turns my impact gun into a drill Awesome product.
I have a Bosch 12 volt impact driver that I love to death. However, sometimes I need to use it as a drill and the 1/4 driver drill bits are garbage and break all the time. This tool converts my impact wrench to a drill with a keyless chuck. It has become one of my favorite go to tools. Great invention! Great product!

i must admit I was not expecting much for $5. I think that is about what I paid the last time -- 40 years ago. This chuck arrived promptly and appears to be well-made. I tried several tiny bits and was surprised and pleased that the chuck held the bits firmly. I'm not sure of the smallest bit's size, but I was able to re-drill and clean up several water misters to keep my chickens cool in 100+ degree heat. Can see hex drive shaft isn't perpendicular and wobbles
Hex drive shaft isn't perpendicular body clamp and drill bit and wobbles. Can use on wood and drywall but I already ordered a replacement chuck because I'm afraid the wobble will cause the bearings to fail in the Dewalt. Also you can't use CCW because the 1/4" drive will just unscrew out.
