This worked for me on my 2000 Guzzi V1100 with a sidecar
This worked for me on my 2000 Guzzi V1100 with a sidecar. The adjustability seemed very nice, with the lightest setting being almost non-existent resistance, and the highest setting being almost immovable. There are a lot of 'in-between' clicks, so this is great if you want a lot of options for tuning it, but makes it hard to adjust on the fly if you have more than one preferred setting (the damper on my BMW has only 3 positions so adjusting it while riding is easy). This would work best in a set-and-forget application. Figuring out the mounting location and fabricating the bracket was the biggest challenge.This worked for me on my 2000 Guzzi V1100 with a sidecar. The quality and finish on this stabilizer appears to be very good.
I am fabricating a steering damper for my .05 FZ1 going through the fearing mount frame I modified and added the center mount and used a cnc fork tube mount for the arm. It is going to be nice and discreet, and it is going to work but I may have to shorten the turning travel at the frame stops a couple degrees. Bottom line is, I am using 100% of the stabilizer travel and it feels like it is going to do the job set on a very low dampening level. Only try what I am trying if you are very ambitious.
