    Best long-lasting tailpiece with built in fine tuners I've used.

    This is a lightweight alloy tailpiece with great fine tuners that last and continue to grip the strings without slipping. Much better than a wood tailpiece that gets weighed down with added tuners. You also get the benefit of minor adjustments in tuning without constantly turning the tuning pegs and wearing out the peg box.

    Very nice violin tailpiece

    I'm very pleased with the item. I replace my old tailpiece with the new one that has a fine tuner for every string. It fit perfectly, was easy to restring, and it is so much easier to tune my violin.

    Nice tailpiece

    My son's student cello was very difficult to tune. At 14, he didn't have the strength to to turn some of the fine tuners. I was tempted to get the pliers out when I was tuning it. This tailpiece was easy to put on, and now all of his fine tuners are working great - with precision and ease.

    Exact replacement

    One of the tuners broke on my old fiddle. I was able to take one screw and fix the situation without taking the strings off etc. Since this os exactly what the violin maker put on the instrument - it iwould function perfectly. This unit is better than mounting fine tuners on a plain tailpiece as it retains the design distance between the bridge and tailpiece. This is required to get the proper resonance. Strings with ball end drop in from the top and not underneath where I would have to use a long nose pliers like some designs. If you change strings often, this is a great tailpiece.
