About this product

Product Information

Set at a remote palatial estate, BURIAL GROUND: NIGHT OF TERRORS finds a group of socialites staying at a reclusive host's mansion, hoping for a full of pleasure. Instead, they find themselves being pursued by the undead, the result of a careless scientist's morbid experiments. One of a legion of films inspired by Fulci's ZOMBIE, BURIAL GROUND contains all the necessary elements for a good zombie movie including maggot-infested corpses, entrail eating, and, as a bonus, an incestuous mother and son relationship in which the son appears to be played by a 30 year-old dwarf.

  • The Terror Has Risen!

A film by Andrea Bianchi. Burial Ground: Night of Terrors (1986). When the moon turns red, the dead shall rise! A professor opens a crypt and reanimates rotten zombies. The zombies attack a jet-set-group which is celebrating a party in a villa nearby.... This movies contains scenes of Zombies, Breast Biting, Decapitation, Gore, and Nudity. This is a must have for any Euro-horror fan and for any one who loves Zombie movies. Other names for this title were originally entitled Le Notti del Terrore. AKA: Burial Ground (1980), Night of Terror (1980 UK), Nights of Terror (1980 UK: cut version), Zombie 3: Le Notti del Terrore(1980 Italy: video title), The Zombie Dead (1980 UK), Zombie Horror (1980). • Get Ready For A Night Of Terror...And Laughs!

Once again I have found a movie from my era, the 1980's, that I skipped the first time around (When it first showed up on VHS in 1986, my friends and I skipped it because of it's cheesy cover and no pix on the back, in fact we didn't even know it was from 1981 or Italian, which could have changed our minds about picking it up). Now I've seen it in all it's cheesy greatness. This movie does stick-out from the barrage of Italian 80's cinema, but not necessarily for the right reasons. This film, about a group of socialites on a retreat to a professor's castle that gets overrun by a bunch of awakened & hungry zombies, will make you feel like you forgot to take out your copies of Zombi 2 or say City Of The Living Dead, but does have unique charms all it's own. One that stuck out to me was the ...

  • Burial Ground: Night of Terrors

Very fun, old school zombie movie. It reminded me of a mix between Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE and the ghoul story in THE MONSTER CLUB. A lot of cool character design in the zombie's faces and hands. Great effects for being made in 1980. Lot's of over the top fake blood, puss, and heads either being caved in by a rock or exploding from a shotgun blast. The story has the general whiny crying female character that gets dragged through most of the movie, and you can't help but wish the chick would die anytime a zombie comes close to her. :-) I've seen plenty of zombie movies over the years, and this is now one of my favorites. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was a creepy incestuous kid. He looked like the generic kid that you beat the hell out of in grade school. Which made me not ...

  • Burial Ground...

A true zombie classic! It spares no carnage. Weird character relations ... A gripping tale of horror.

  • Garanted Laughs and Fears

This is one of those movies i ve heard for years and when i finally got a copy and i started watching it i was sincrely specting some good spooks, at the minute 20 i was laughing my ass out, there s no script, the zombies are smarter than the victims, the acting is so cliche, the location are two different villas that the director try to make you believ its the same, the zombies are a total rip off from the Templar Cavalliers from Ossorio movies, and the best is 30 something midget acting like a 10 year old boy, with some serious oedipical issues, this is so bad that its involuntay funny, still the rythim is pretty good, the special effects are pretty decent (for italian 60 s horror)and its very entertaining, i sincerely recommended it
