Good product for a specific purpose. Somewhat difficult repair overall.
This product helped me fix my own power seat on a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country van. I am a fan of the product and I'm glad someone is producing it. It saved me a lot of money. It was not an easy repair, perhaps not recommended for someone who doesn't work on vehicles regularly. It required dismounting the seat from the car, removing the apparatus from the seat frame including the removal of a very stubborn spring pin (that I had to destroy to get apart and then eventually replace with a common bolt), removing the failed gear from the shaft, grinding off the splines from the shaft without damaging the shaft or taking off too much metal, drilling a small hole in the somewhat fragile shaft, installing the new gear and pin on the shaft, greasing and re-assembling the apparatus, testing ...
