I LOVE guitars but I HATE paying retail prices for strings! Since I couldn't find a local store with reasonable string prices and variety, I opened my own eBay store and have been a Top Rated Seller ...

      Very Good Strings

These are good sounding strings that wear well, string easily, and retain their sound quality for significant amounts of time. Unlike other brands in which one string in the set breaks before the rest of the set is even worn, these wear evenly. I've used them for over 6 years and never had a string break. (Restring in reasonable time, as with any strings, don't let them go dead.) The price is very reasonable, though its been going up. I recommend buying 3-packs, rather than single sets.

    • Fuller clearer sound, less noise. Great without/with an amp.

Much better type of string than the ball end type. Also, these have a smoothe feel and give a nice full sound to my Yamaha NCX 900R classical guitar. The strings are forgiving on the fingers as I get back into playing after years of abcense from it. Also not noisy from sliding sounds. Tying the ends on and changing nylon is very different for me, accustomed to an Ovation, takes a little longer but is worth the difference for an improved sound. For me nylon strings are better because of losing 1/2" off left ring finger, classical easier to do. Good choice, buy them.

    • Classical guitar strings D'Adddario are the best

I have six classical guitars and play at least one of them every day (folk music). I've tried several brands over the years. DAddario strings are the only brand I put on them. EJ45 strings are the my favorite strings. EJ27N student strings are a great value for budget buyers, but the difference in cost between EJ45 and EJ27 is not great. I find both strings are better than other brands.

    • Can't go wrong with Pro Arte

After all that's said and done about nylon, rectified nylon, carbon, etc., you just can't go wrong using Pro Arte EJ 45 Normal tension. I used to get the EXP because the base coatings did last longer, and it looks like they're not making EXP anymore. Dyna core bases may also give a throatier base, at the cost of string tension on the guitar, yet I never find good 'ol regular Pro Arte lacking. And still reasonably priced. They last longer and sound better than Savarez which came on my Cordoba guitars. I switch to Pro Arte at the first change.

    • High Quality Guitar Strings at a Reasonable Price

Although I prefer the projection of high tension classical guitar strings (available from this manufacturer) I use the D'Addario EJ-45 normal tension strings because they are reasonably priced, and because they last long enough to meet my needs. I am not a professional performer, but I require high quality classical guitar strings with clear tone and good projection. The EJ-45 strings stay in tune once they are broken in, and require minor tweaking after that, usually only on the solid nylon strings. On the issue of durability, I don't usually wait until one of the strings breaks on my guitar before I replace the entire set, and although I have tried higher priced brands, the D'Addarios constitute an excellent choice.
