    Outstanding Corgi 1/72 Hurricane MK.I model AA32012! Associated mysteries solved!

    The serial number on the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I aircraft model, P3169 ( aircraft number 1 Sqn., RAF, coded JX*T ), is correct, apart from the error on the box ( which has beautiful artwork ), stating it is Hurricane P3109. The model of P3169 is flawless. Good detail overall with even the fine stenciling and wing walk areas included. Good flat finish including the national insignia. The radiator, cockpit interior, pilot and inner landing gear wheel wells are properly detailed and painted. the wing tip navigation lights and wing leading edge landing lights are properly painted on. The wing leading edge has gun muzzle outlets red tape patches which are present showing the tape patches had been shot through by the eight .303 Browning machine guns, four grouped close together in each wing.
