    Endearing and thought-provoking; refreshing perspective

    the greatest cast ever! everyone fulfills their role wonderfully--from the hermit neighbor to the dog drawn to Laura's character because he can sense her cancer. Gotta say I love Laura Linney in this. respect her decision to keep it a secret from family in the beginning...love her candid attitude with the cancer doc. a box of tissues may be a requirement to watch this show but I can't wait for the next season! even learned a new recipe from the show for English muffin pizzas. hint: use salsa instead of tomato or pizza sauce as the base. It's a family favorite now. watch the whole season to get the rest of the ingredients!

    The Big C was great. Laura Linnwy is an excellent actress. I love all the charactes. I highly recommend this series.

    Funny but serious at the same time.

    I watched the show on Showtime and fell in love with it. To think that you can actually laugh at something so serious. Laura Linney is hilarious. The show actually made me reevaluate how I look at life. I took my dream trip this year because Cathy (Laura's character) saw life through a different set of eyes. She really makes you think about how you would change how you live your life if you were given a terminal diagnosis.

    Great show!

    This is a great show and it is wonderful to be able to see what the 1st season is all about. I tuned in late (Free HBO and saw the 2nd season). This show really appeals to almost everybody as most people are touched by cancer in some way, shape, or form. A very appealing look at a serious subject and its effect on everybody.
