I have two 10s in a slot ported box wired in a 4 ohm series 1000 watts max (450 RMS), I've got the gain knob a little more than half way and my radio's sub-crossover at +1db and LPF at 200 hz. I hear no distortion with my head in the trunk in front of the speakers, volume almost maxed; just clean bass. I've been running them wide open throttle for two weeks straight, every day and not a single issue. I read all the reviews before I bought them, but you never know until you try it yourself. I'm afraid to run them at the 700w Rms that my amp is capable of when wired at 1ohm, simply because of how inexpensive they were. It worries me that they may be overrated. But I can assure you that, when installed/wired/set correctly, these subs out perform any other sub in the same price range. I'm sure ... Poor quality voice coils
I had the subwoofers professionally installed an they blew up in less than a week! I had a 1000 watt amplifier pushing them with both voice coils wired in an blew both subs! I’m very disappointed in the over all build quality of the subs! Sound quality was great while they were playing they just didn’t last at all

These subs pound...no they dont take 750 rms..but 300 rms is still good. I compare these to a old school 2000 2003 jl aduio 10w3.. For the price..u wont be disapointed Running 3 at 2ohm on a mtx 500.1D..
