    Misrepresentative Sales

    When you advertise a Stephen King Red Library edition and you place a photo of a Stephen King Red Library edition - you forfeit the excuse to say that “we sell many, many books, so they may not be the exact edition shown.” This is too specific to be anything but misrepresentation. Advertised very specific edition and sent a basic bookstore edition.

    I don't listen to reviews of favorite authors before reading a book, and I hope you don't either. Most of the reviews for this particular King offering border on the "two thumbs down" to downright bad. That's not really fair. Compared to some of his classic works, Buick 8 may seem to be lacking in the in-depth character analysis and "bogeys you love to hate" subjects. However, on its own, it's an engaging and interesting read. King is still a top-notch storyteller, something that has absolutely nothing to do with the theme of his books as much as just the kind of writer he is. Meticulous, engaging, entertaining, and always down-to-earth, it's King's style of writing that I have always loved far beyond the "horror" genre it's invariably anchored in.     Suprisingly a Great Book!

    Soon to be a major motion picture, this book produced more intial judgements than educated reviews when it first came out, reminding people of King's other classic novel Christine. But it is much, much more than that. Told in typical Stephen King fashion, the story takes place in present day, but past "events" are told leading up to the present day conclusion. A very "otherworldly" driven plot keeps you glued to its pages. Suprisingly enough the protagonist of the story is not an author or writer of some kind, but a lowly old town police department faced with unspeakable enough events. It's a really good book and you should give it a chance.

    Another great book by Stephen King.

    If from a biuck 8 was writen by John Grisom would I have bought it? NO, It was writen by Stephen King who is one of the most famous author there is. Stephen King's other book /movies about cars trucks have been great.After reading about half of this book ,it is no different than the others-great keeps you reading wondering what is going to happen next.So as far as I have read it is another great book by Stephen King.
