    The wolf and the dove

    He swore that he hated all women. She swore that she would never be completely his unless he loved her. Aislinn's life is changed forever when the Normans take over. Once the daughter of the lord, she is now a slave to the new lord, Wulgar. He claims her as his woman but she can't help feeling that she is a whore. There is no security with Wulfgar because he could get rid of her whenever he wishes. The relationship between the two main characters is very frustrating and it goes around in circles centering around the afore mentioned topics. It is a detailed novel but tedious. I couldn't wait to finish this book just so that I could be done with it.
