Great cookbook
Trying to cook for a diabetic who is convinced he can't ever eat potatoes again (example), is a truly not easy meal planning. Now, with this wonderful cookbook from Taste of Home... it's as easy as pie (yes, pun intended). Thank you all these amazing, tasty meals.

Taste of Home - Down-Home Diabetic Cookbook
I love everything about this book! I just got it a couple of days ago and have looked at the recipes in great anticipation of trying many of them in the coming weeks, months and years. I truly think it will be a "staple" for me. The recipes have wonderful ingredients, with lots of herbs and spices but nothing "fancy," just ordinary things you already have in your kitchen. All of the ingredients are laid out well and the instructions are so very concise but very easy to follow and understand. They give Yields for every recipe plus the Exchanges and all of the Nutritional information that diabetics need. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and my doctor and I decided that I would try and control my sugar levels with diet and exercise for the time being instead of going on medication. I ... YUM! SIMPLE! GREAT TASTING!
Lots of great recipes! The average person should have most of the ingredients in their home. Haven't tried them yet, but the ingredients list sounds like it is going to be tasty, rather than bland, as most diabetic recipes are!

All the recipes seem to be easy to make and that's what I need because I can't cook real well like I used to many years ago. Book is in excellent shape! I love the whole book and I am glad that I bought it! Recipes look interesting and basically can't wait to make some of these, so I can stay healthy!
