    Save money and buy the book!

    I always buy a repair manual for my vehicles. I usually do all my own work but as I'm getting older, sometimes I'd rather just have a mechanic do it. Either way, it's good to be informed about what's being done. When a unscrupulous tech feels you know your stuff, they're less likely to try to take advantage of you. The money you spend on the manual will save you countless dollars on repairs even if you decide not to get your hands dirty!
