this is jim rockford
a really good book, establishing garner as a truly cool character his racing tales, and golf tales got slightly tiresome, but still interesting he truly had guts! standing up to people his entire life, (the studio heads!) a true ethical tale for those coming up today. definitely NOT a boring read!. some of the most respected people in the industry, had nothing but good to say about him, a pretty impressive guy !a really good book, establishing garner as a truly cool character his racing tales, and golf tales got slightly tiresome, but still interesting he truly had guts! standing up to people his entire life, (the studio heads!) a true ethical tale for those coming up today. definitely NOT a boring read!. some of the most respected people in the industry, had nothing but good to say about him, a pretty impressive guy !

I could not find a better way to spend an afternoon than reading this book.
James Garner (b April 7, 1928) is my most favorite Detective and Western TV actor in the whole wide world. I am really enjoying the opportunity to read his book complete with a list of all his work with names, dates and co-stars. This is a very fascinating book and I highly recommend it for anyone who loves Rockford and Maverick. This book is one of his best works.
