OEM Briggs Air filter
Before purchasing this air filter I seriously considered purchasing the aftermarket filters @ 1/2 to 1/4 the price of the OEM filters. They may be OK, but having experience with the OEM product and the air filter being so important to maintaining my engine I decided to go with the OEM product. I mow over 2 acres, much of which can be very dusty. Dusty to the point that visibility is greatly compromised. Mice had entered my storage shed and eaten away the outer foam portion of the OEM filter element on my tractor. I should have checked it before I mowed, but I didn't. Once I removed the OEM filter from the carburetor I thoroughly checked the carburetor for any sign of dirt. Even though the prefilter was all but gone my carburetor was still very clean inside. Got it quick; but they sent the wrong spark plugs. Needed 5/8 sparkplug; they went 3/4 ones. They hit on cooling fins; so I went to parts store and got the correct ones.

OEM Zero Turn Riding Mower Part....
This is the OEM air filter set forth in the riding mower equipment manufacturer's owner's manual, so I am sure that I could not have made a better choice to allow quick starts and/ or prevent overheating of the mower's engine for smooth air flow and engine operation.

I've been buying these every year for my mower for eight years and they fit perfectly every time. They are much better on my bank account because the box stores want way too much for a lawnmower air filter. They actually appear to be better quality than the Briggs air filters too. This product was cheaper Quality than the local generic brands which included the steel cage to hold the paper filter in this item did not have that cage I believe the cage was for holding the paper in the correct shape I thought it would be better because it was original bridge and Stratton ..wrong
