    Excellent book

    This is a very detailed account of what happened in Chernobyl. At times it's difficult to read as I'm totally unknowledgeable of how nuclear reactors work, etc. I need to read some parts several times to try to understand. It definitely gives you a light education on nuclear fission. I'm only partially through this book at the moment but I find myself not being able to stop reading.

    HBO's "Chernobyl" Based on this Book

    GREAT book, plenty of detail. Lots of investigation and fact checking went into this book, amazing depth. IIRC this is the book that HBO's "Chernobyl" miniseries was based on.
