I was shocked at how heavy and big this book is. It has to weigh more than a gallon of milk. I wasn’t expecting it to be so big or heavy lol. Holman illustrated bible dictionary, hardcover is what I bought. It looks brand new. It’s just a little over 1700 pages with so much detail. I’d recommend the book and the seller. Shipping was a few days. Not super fast but not slow. I’ve used this seller before and I’ll continue to do so. Fair priced, good seller.

I bought this book here and not on Amazon new, because it Was in Good condition and a good price. I sooo expected it to be shipped to me in such a way, as to Remain in Good condition. However, the shipping bag was loose plastic and the Good book was beat to a pulp in the cheaper than cheap shipping material! I did not expect perfect. But, I did expect to receive what I paid for as Good to remain Good through the shipment process! I will not buy from this seller again unfortunately!

    Great addition to a Christian library!

    This publication has incredible charts and graphs.The detail in these helps to make the accounts found in the Bible much easier to understand, I wish I had this book when I first started studying the Bible. Just the chart on the various religious and political groups in Jesus' time was worth the price. The book was in excellent condition, almost brand new! What a treasure at such a reasonable price!!

    A must-have study tool for anyone wishing to study the Bible!

    Of all the Bible Dictionaries that I have used, this one has been, by far, the best! With twice as much information as many other bible dictionaries, and with colorful and informative maps and diagrams, the Holman Bible Dictionary has been my main Bible study tool aside from the Bible itself! Would also recommend the Lion Handbook to the Bible and the Lion Atlas to the Bible!
