  • God of the Kitchen

Auguste Escoffier is an absolute legend, in at least the European kitchen and I'm pretty sure worldwide. Yes he's old-school but you couldn't get anything more Classic than this, he's bloody Brilliant, and this is from a British guy who generally dislikes the French!

  • Escoffier cookbook perfect

This cookbook was a gift for a friend who is a foodie of the first order!! Escoffier, to her, is the Chef of Chefs! She was ecstatic to receive it! The price was absolutely reasonable and the book, although quite old, was in perfect perfect condition. thank you.

  • The perfect book for any aspiring cook.

This is a cookbook that should be read by any serious chef or home cook attempting to be creative. The recipes are from an amazing chef from a bygone era. Excellent condition.

  • Inclusive instruction

This book has a bit of everything. Instructions are not particularly precise which makes for some judgment calls. I guess that's what gourmets do.
