Some assembly required.
While, for the price, I can find no reason to complain about the quality of this awning I would not recommend it. It is far more difficult to install than I like. I installed a 21 foot awning on my RV and it took about two hours more than what I normally experience in such an installation. The reason being that only the valance is welted and you have to push the primary welting into the slot after pushing the fabric into the groove. I accomplished inserting the fabric into the slot with a homemade tool I made from a plastic builders shim on which I radiused the corners to avoid cutting the fabric. I then spent way too much time forcing the welting in from the end aided by my wife and a can of silicone spray lube. Actually I forced it in from both ends as the welting comes in two ... While, for the price, I can find no reason to complain about the quality of this awning I would not recommend it. It is far more difficult to install than I like. That, in turn, necessitated retensioning the spring. I normally never remove the spring to install an awning fabric as it is not required when both the valance and primary welting are sewn into the awning and it is pulled in simultaneously from one end. I see them removing the spring on a lot of youtube videos, but for the life of me I cannot understand why. I have never had a problem installing replacement awning fabrics from the unsprung end. In addition to the difficulty in installing the welting the manufacturer must have had a C/Nc cutting machine that was programmed to an exact length. There was not any excess and I actually had to force the last few inches into the slot with a screwdriver as it did not meet in the center when flush with the tube. The combined length of the two sections just were as long as the awning fabric. I was actually eyeing up the old awning in consideration of using that welting. Fortunately I did manage to avoid that. I fully realize this is a bargain priced awning and I should have spent more to get a more user friendly item. The fabric appears to be such that I will get several years use out of it.. I just can't in good conscience recommend this awning due to the fact that "some assembly" is required.

Great buy for value awing
This awning was a good deal for the price. Well made, fabric not heavy-duty, but o.k. A little tough to feed cord through "looped" fabric, but lube and patience paid off. Valance a little plain looking without scallops. Hopefully it will hold up for several years. Happy with purchase.

Very poor quality
Is very thin it's hard to put on the roller because of this sewed seems. Got it up and it's already had a hole in it very disappointed in the quality.
