Chicago, Live at the Greek 1993
this was nearly the entire show of the band at there peak. With tight vocals, grooving rhythms, a horn section on top of its game chicago ran through many of there greatest hits BUT... this wasnt just a dirty dozen hit parade n go home! Chicago brought back 2 songs they hadn't done in years then with " I'm a Man" ( with a first for chicago with the awesome Dawayne Bailey taking lead vocals on the 3rd verse) and " I've Been Searching So Long" to the delight of the crowds and a brand new entry from the forthcoming new rock n roll record (and still as of march 18th 2008 not released..to be released in summer 2008 ed. note) not titled the usual Number but by the title song written by then guitarist and harmony/backing singer Dawayne Bailey. 'Stone Of Sisyphus' (there 22nd album) was to be ... this was nearly the entire show of the band at there peak. "The Pull", was an excellent up-tempo pop/rock song that used the chicago horns well and showcased the vocals of Scheff, who was excellent throughout this concert (as were Lamm, Bailey, Champlin). This concert also included the obligitory hits done very well like the Lamm sung "Color My World", Scheff's " Hard Habbit to Break",and all-time hits like " Saturday In The Park", "25 or 6 to 4" the number one smash hit and song of the year in 1989 " Look Away" sung by the legendary Bill Champlin was a huge crowd Pleaser the list goes on. This was Chicago at there best and the only thing that didn't please was the show only Clocked in at around 80 minutes! STill with greatest hits, rarities performed and a great new song this was a great setlist and saw the band most happy and full of energy! Find this video and buy it if your a fan of the band this is the 1990-1994 line-up at its finest!!
