Great part.
I did not buy this product for its intended use. I broke my manual window handle clean off, on a frigid February morning, in my 2007 chevy express work van, right at the indent where the c clip holds the handle onto the spindle. I used a grinder to shorten the spindle another 1/2", used the Allen key set-screw to mark the set-screw location on the spindle, drilled a shallow 13/64" hole to permanently index this part onto the spindle, and reinstalled my window handle. The part was well machined, fit perfectly, made of good quality steel with no rust, the set-screw was tapered and tight, the depth was robust, the width did not interfere with the existing door trim. What can I say, worked like a charm!I did not buy this product for its intended use. Broke almost immediately
The description of this product states these are built strong and go through rigorous testing. I find that hard to believe considering the failure rate. They sell the same one on amazing and they fail the same way. I bought this one here hoping they were different. They are not. A very small poorly done tack weld is all that holds this together. Sits wobbly
Item fits, however, it sits very wobbly. I crank my handle and my window rolls down, however, the wobble is annoying and makes it look janky. I don’t mind the fact that it sticks out a bit, but the wobbling is a no for me.
