    Teach Yourself VISUALLY Sock Knitting

    I purchased this book because I am new to knitting socks. I have purchased lots of books about knitting socks but I use this one the most. Most books tell you the steps to knitting a sock, but they don't tell you how to achieve those steps, this book does. There is a wealth of information in this book on the subject. The instructions are easy to understand and the pictures, are an added bonus when knitting. This book gives instructions for using DPN (double point needles), two circular needles and, using one circular needle. I have had to refer to this book on several occasions and it has been a life saver.

    Fabulous Book for 1st Time Sock Knitters!!

    I have been wanting for years to knit socks, I even have a 1940's book where you knit socks on just 2 needles,I was so afeared of knitting in the round with 4 needles ! But with the incredible photography and the great explanations, these fears are about to be allayed ! I am so pleased, because I have loads of fingering yarn designed just for socks and now can't wait to use it ! I have purchased many, many books on knitting socks, I wish I had seen this book First, as I would have saved myself a lot of frustration and money. I know how to do designs in my knitting, I just couldn't get myself in the round properly. Please consider this book if you have had the same type of experiences as I have had.     Teach Yourself Visually Sock Knitting by Laura Chau

    great book to use along side your pattern . helps to explain those instructions that may not make sense or if you are not familiar with making socks. . actually it is not as hard and much more fun to make socks than I realized. great compliment for use and not so heavy to carry around.

    Perfect book for a beginning knitter ! Plenty of visual to go along with all instructions ! I have always got lost following other knitting books, then I tried this one. I would highly recommend !

    Best sock knitting book!

    I have five (5) sock knitting books. IMHO, this is the best one on my shelf and the one to which I am referring more often. The illustrations are clear, large enough to see and the explanations are on point. Buy this book!
