A few pieces seem as though they may be able to be worked but of the 40lbs and couple dozen pieces at least 3 were hammer stones and a number were deeply granulated and some not chert or flint whatsoever. It’s just rocks but…Lordy…not primo at all.

Well, I'm not a good flintknapper. But this is some good material at a decent price relative to what I've seen elsewhere. I experimented with heat treating this, which I don't recommend (at least not in your house oven). I also think it works best with a "copper bopper," though I know some purists will prefer antler. Overall, this is just what I needed. More material to keep practicing!
