    Excellent camera

    I used nikon D80 for long time, and i needed a new camera. Totally satisfied with it. It gives you everything you need, specially for amateur photographer, tho i know few professionals who uses Nikon D7100. Lenses are ok, specially if this are your first lenses and don't want to spend too much money for better ones. You will have time to spend more later :-D Thumbs up for D7100.

    As near to a pro DSLR as I'll ever need and now good value secondhand.

    I previously owned a D79 DX format camera and was hoping secondhand D700 prices would come down following the introduction of the D800. They are coming down but still very slowly - typically over £1,000 against the original new price of £1,750, I think. The new model is an eye-watering £2,600 and well out of reach for most people. Compared with the D70, the D700 has a larger clearer viewfinder (though not quite 100% coverage)and much better low light preformance. It is however noticeably bigger and quite a lot heavier (I had to get a new tripod head with friction control to control it easily with a telephoto zoom lens). It uses the same batteries and cards I used with the D70. Ther are more functions directly accessible from dedicated controls, rather like a film camera, without ...

    One of the best DSLR cameras i have ever used!!!!

    What can i say?? The Nikon D700 is one of the best cameras around today. The low light capabilities of this camera are second to none, usable pictures right up to ISO 6400. Even after that the higher ISO can still be used. It is feature packed and everything is laid out as it should be. All in all a fantastic and iconic camera.

    Brilliant

    A brilliant upgrade from a DX to a FX camera. There is a step change in the quality of high iSO images moving from the Nikon D300 to the D700. However anyone purchasing this camera should also be prepared to improve their lens to get the most from it. At least a f2.8 and more likely the 24-70 and the 70-200.
