    Smiths replica speedo, we'll see...

    Seems well made. I like the the way the bulb inserts with a nice tight rubber seal. That said, you have to change out the bullet connectors as they are a smaller diameter than stock Lucas. Not a big deal though. The housing is taller than the Smiths original and the bezel is slightly smaller so it doesn't fit well in the stock rubber mounting cups. I did manage to make it work with a couple of modifications to the cup. Maybe the aftermarket cups are a better fit for the aftermarket instruments? Way more affordable than a new Smiths, so... If you're looking to get up and running on a budget and don't mind a little extra futsing around, I suppose it's worth it. We'll see how accurate and durable it is in the spring.... Not ready to offer a real recommendation yet.

    Accurate.

    Have it only for a short time, but it works fine and is accurate. Fitiing bigger rubber cup of my Trident, will not fir smaller cup of BSA A65 or TR6 / 120.
