I contacted the seller because the part came in with a link in hose and would not work on my bike. The seller refuses to refund or simply replace the defective part. He only wants to blame and say it wasn’t possible for a new part to have a kink so he either sent a used part or he is wrong. I’m out over fifty dollars to a bad part and a terrible seller! I will be closing my ebay account and will buy from Amazon from now on! Terrible excuse and thieves in this site!

This buyer got the part and opened it, then installed it and kinked it upon install. THEN he took photos of the line used and dirty with a kink in it and said it arrived that way new in the package. I might believe his story if he sent a photo of it in the package unused with a kink in it. In 20 years in this business I have NEVER seen a kinked fuel line from the factory. They manufacture and package them in a manner in the clamshell that prevents this from happening.

    Not the same quality as OEM, too stiff and brittle

    2008 Sportster XL1200C - This fuel line is too stiff and brittle for the complex curves required for routing. I had to utilize spiral wrap over the full length in order to prevent kinking, The line does come with a new o-ring, back up ring and retainer (which is not mentioned in the item description), however the retainer does not fit properly and I ended up using the factory one. I decided to try this brand based on the crimps used to secure the ends vs other after market brands which use clamps. I will be replacing this line with a factory OEM unit as soon as possible since I am now questioning the integrity of the line after the initial kinking during installation, after all this is a high pressure fuel line next to a hot engine. Spend the money and get the OEM one the first time ...

    Fuel line

    Initially the product looked great. However, installation was another story. The connections were not as an per. The connections were installed in opposite directions to an open and it resulted in a twisted line. It was a real pain.
