Great Introductory Level Commentary on the Book of Mormon
This is an introductory level commentary book on the LDS Book of Mormon scripture. I have a number of similar commentary books by Thomas R. Valletta and find them very user-friendly and I appreciate the expansive bibliography from which the authors draw on commentaries. I would also recommend his related book The Book of Mormon Study Guide: Start to Finish by the same editor. That book is at a more intermediate level, although by no means a difficult read. Some may find that there are verses for which there are summary commentaries but such is the nature of some scripture.This is an introductory level commentary book on the LDS Book of Mormon scripture. Excellent Format to Understand and Clarify Content
The best Book of Mormon ever printed. it helps to easily understand what is happening. This is accomplished by caption headings and explanations on nearly every page. the footnotes also do a great job of explaining. it simplifies understanding :)

Bigger text to help kids said read easier
We love these. There’s explanations below the text that give interesting facts and the bigger text makes it so much easier for my seven and nine year old boys to keep their place when we read.

Both Kids and I like it!
It helps keep my kids interested a little bit longer. When i'm explaining things to them, it helps to have a picture to reference and the kids appreciate it, too. They like to read from this book better because the text is larger and it's easier to see. 2 downers: (first is minor) 1. the pages in this book don't correspond to a regular BOM. Ex. Page 10 in my book is page 6 in theirs. My son likes to try and find his own spot but is always trying ti find it off of my book page. Doesn't work. 2. The chapter headings from the BOM and BOM for families are different. They completely excluded the regular BOM chapter headings and included their own easy-to-read version.
