    When you need to see more and have a time limit.

    I do a great many interior shots and the widest lens is truly useful. I have yet to use it for exterior shots but I expect it to be just as useful.

    Ultra-wide works fine!

    Love this lens! Good glass, nice feel, focuses well, fun to use! Nothing I don't like! Just make sure the one you're looking at has the factory lens hood... They're about $30, that is, if you can FIND one!
