    Aquaman the complete set

    I couldn’t find this dvd anywhere to add to my comic collection. It came brand new still wrapped even the cardboard that holds the set was near mint even shown up two days earlier then what eBay said it would:)

    The Adventures of Aquaman is under the sea fun!

    The Adventures of Aquaman is a lot of fun adventure under the sea. This show makes Aquaman and his undersea world exciting. Impressive animation, especially for a low budget. Aquaman comic book accurate character designs and the painted underwater backgrounds are impressive in particular. Creating an otherworldly undersea atmosphere to which the audience is easily drawn into. Great music scores by composer John Gart (under the stage name John Marion) and music supervisor Gordon Zahler using a large orchestra. Marvin Miller voiced Aquaman, Diana Maddox voiced Mera, Jerry Dexter voiced Aqualad. Ted Knight (Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977)/Caddyshack (1980)) was the announcer/narrator and voiced many of the villains including Black Manta.     Aquaman, good memories from a better time.

    Seeing as these reviews help make some decisions, I feel I have to try to be objective. I wish I could give this package better then just a good. Back when I was 5 years old I thought they where excellent. Unfortunately the material doesn't age so well. Its limited focus and formulaic presentation makes it best for young children. There is a nice overview of Aquaman in the features section that adults can appreciate. Various writers, artists, and fans contribute opinions and facts about the history of Aquaman. The packaging and artwork are excellent. Nostalgia seekers and completest will get the most enjoyment of these short stories. If your looking for fully developed storyline and less formula, the newer Justice League series, may be more to your liking. Paul

    Classic Saturday Morning Cartoon

    My 13 yr old son expects to grow up to be Aquaman. Of course we are thrilled and proud but more important, I have been reliving my childhood Saturday mornings. Who cannot like a hero who talks with sea creatures? The dvd has all the episodes, clear pictures and well made. The price was very reasonable and exceeded our expectations in quality and packaging. Hope you see us on the news soon as Aquaman Jr hits the big screen.

    The Adventure of Aquaman

    I have no dislike about Aquaman I loved it as a kid and still love it. I thank you so much 4 it. I would recommend this to anyone who grew up with it on saturday's morning along with Speed Racer, Kimba , Superfriends, Batman and Robin, The Mighty Heroes and along a host of good cartoons in the late 1960's to the late 1970's. I had a ball watching them and now you can collect them at the touch of the Internet how wonderful is that.
