Low quality product, unfortunately. The wood became discolored after only 4 days in my shower; I've been using wood soap dishes for years and have never had this happen before. I messaged the seller asking if maybe this was a defective product and he replied that "white oak wood naturally grays over time." I would accept that as an answer if several months had passed but this was after just 4 days. I explained that to the seller and he stopped replying to me. Bad product and customer service.

In addition to explaining that white oak naturally grays over time, I also explained that the darkening of the wood can be caused by dyes/oils in the soaps that soak into the wood. Buyer shared a picture of a dark bar of soap with the soap dish in question. I also told buyer that I would send a replacement in a different wood type right away. I made up a special soap dish just for the buyer in another wood type and shipped it out right away...feedback was left after replacement was delivered.
